Good deep, full red. Wonderfully vibrant nose hints at raspberry, flowers, minerals and pepper. Sappy and vinous in the mouth, with insinuating sweetness to its flavors of red cherry, raspberry and dried flowers. Not as large-scaled as the Bric del Fiasc but this energetic, sharply delineated wine expands impressively with aeration and finishes with terrific building length. The 2008 Barbaresco Crichët Pajé is a gorgeous, translucent wine that shows this cool, late-ripening vintage at its best. Sweet red cherry, mint, kirsch, hard candy and white pepper are all beautifully delineated. In many vintages, Crichët Pajé was massively tannic and forbidding. The 2008 is the most refined vintage of this wine I have ever tasted. Put simply, the 2008 is sublime. The 2012 Barbaresco Crichët Pajè is tight and not especially expressive today. In this vintage, the Crichët Pajè is a bit more floral and lighter in structure than it can be. Imagine Burgundy with Nebbiolo acids and tannins. Among other things, that means the 2012 will drink well with minimal cellaring, in relative terms for this bottling. Despite its reticence, the 2012 is also restrained and so nuanced. I can't wait to see how it develops in bottle.保税价格￥ 8,115.00 -

Crushed mint, new leather, white truffle and wild berry aromas waft out of the glass on this gorgeous, fragrant wine. Smooth but seriously structured, the focused palate is delicious, delivering crushed Morello cherry, raspberry compote and licorice. The 2014 Barbaresco Crichët Pajè is an absolutely exquisite wine that shows how compelling this vintage is in Barbaresco. Fresh, vibrant and wonderfully deep, the 2014 races out of the glass, showing tremendous depth, energy and pedigree. Crushed red-toned fruit, orange peel, rose petal, anise and mint are some of the many aromas and flavors that develop, but its really the wine's balance that impresses more than anything else. The Roagna Vecchia Formula Barolo Chinato NV is a splendid display of Italian winemaking and is among Langhe's rarest and most unusual offerings. The Roagna family, whose winemaking history spans over 130 years, innovatively utilised the original 19th-century recipe to produce this Barolo Chinato. A meticulous process was deployed to ferment Nebbiolo grapes of the highest quality, followed by ageing in oak casks. The uniqueness of this wine comes from the subsequent addition of China Calissaya bark, and a subtle blend of herbs and spices.
The Roagna Vecchia Formula Barolo Chinato NV exudes a delightful abundance of complex aromas. It possesses notes of tar, dried cherry, and licorice, with an enchanting herbal overtone. On the palate, it conveys a bittersweet character and rich peppery spice notes interwoven through the substantial fruit core. This striking ensemble of flavours renders this spirit a distinguished accompaniment to chocolate-based desserts or as an exquisite after-dinner digestif.

The 2019 Barolo Brunate is a powerhouse. Black cherry, plum, spice, lavender, mocha, gravel and scorched earth all build as this virile, potent Barolo struts its stuff. The Brunate is another super-impressive wine in this range. To be perfectly honest, the Brunate has never been one of my favorite wines here, but the 2019 is undeniably great. The 2019 Barolo Cerequio is a worthy follow up to the stellar 2018. Aromatic and deeply pitched, the 2019 races across the palate with remarkable depth and intensity. Crushed red berry fruit, rose petal, mint and cinnamon all open in the glass, but it is the wine's silkiness and suppleness that impresses most. A kick of acids and tannins puts an exclamation point on the finish. This is a gorgeous Cerequio that takes all the finesse this site offers, and then turns up the volume. Luca recently purchased more land in the Lazzarito cru. The 2009 Barolo Lazzarito delivers subdued notes of red rose and violet that build in intensity as the wine takes on more air in the glass. Black fruit, plum, cassis, leather, tar and licorice soon follow suit. This wine is an absolute, drop-dead stunner. Its tannic crispness makes it feel lively and buoyant in the mouth. The 2019 Barolo Monvigliero is stunning. What a wine. Rich, heady and explosive, the 2019 is a gorgeous, spherical Barolo that dazzles right out of the gate. Aromatically broad and expansive, the 2019 fleshes out beautifully in the glass. Bright red-toned fruit, orange zest, mint, spice and bright saline notes saturate the palate on the back end. The 2019 is a total stunner, even in this stage of youthful austerity. It comes across as a bit rustic compared to the 2018, but the final verdict on that won't be evident for at least a number of years.
