Move over Luther Vandross, Thibaud Boudignon is in town and the Clos de la Hutte makes you want to slow dance with it. The 2020 is a wine that makes your shoulders drop such is its tranquility and sense of comfort in your mouth. It blooms in the mouth and does so without any sense of heaviness. The finish, scented with flowers and nectarines, is long, fragrant and textural. I hate using the word minerality as it means so many different things to people, but in my opinion, this has it in spades. It is incredible that the vines were only planted in 2011 on the schistous site on the grounds of a former monastery. Aged in larger format barrels, there's no sense of oakiness, allowing the purity of this wine to shine bright.保税价格¥ 5,470.00 -

From Souzay-Champigny and cultivated on clay-limestone terroir with just a 30-centimeter layer of clayey sand before the Seonian limestone is present, the 2019 Saumur Blanc Clos Romans has a straw yellow color and a deep yet subtle and complex bouquet of white fruits intertwined with the flinty limestone aromas. Pure, fresh and juicy, with great finesse and mineral tension, this is a refined and highly elegant Saumur Chenin with a persistent, sustainably structured finish. It's an impressive wine and one of the finest dry Chenins I have had from the Loire this year. Tasted in June 2021.保税价格¥ 2,465.00 -

It’s an “orange wine,” for sure, but for now, in its youth, the 2018 Saumur Blanc Terres is just kind of golden. The nose is full of apple and pear, with a cidery note, along with earth and citrus peel. In the mouth, there’s a lot of pear and pineapple. I find it adventurous and unique. The 2018 spent 4 months macerating in amphora.保税价格¥ 3,685.00 -

Hailing from several different parcels belonging to the Vacheron family in the frost-affected, cool 2021 season, the 2021 Sancerre Blanc is fresh and fragrant. A mouthwatering style that skips along like a lamb on a spring day. It has just-ripe pineapple, gooseberry and even a tang of green pea in a rather varietal way. The finish is very lightly chalky, as if it is a mere sprinkling. Makes for excellent refreshment.保税价格¥ 2,015.00 -

The 2018 Sancerre Blanc Les Romains offers lovely textural depth and fine balance. Lemon confit, marzipan, spice and floral notes add that extra bit of pliancy and resonance that gives the wine its soft curves and open-knit personality. Best of all, the 2018 will drink well right out of the gate.保税价格¥ 5,830.00
