Green papaya, pomelo, cream, flint and hints of wax on the nose. It’s full-bodied with bright acidity and a creamy texture. Concentrated and refined with seamless layers, leading to a long, mineral finish. The phenols with fruit and acidity are a formidable combination. Keeps going. Try from 2022.保税价格¥ 5,940.00 -

The 2019 Grand Village Blanc, 25% Sémillon and 75% Sauvignon Blanc (Bordeaux clones and massal selection) has a perfumed bouquet of yellow plum, nectarine and honeysuckle. The palate is well balanced with a waxy texture, dried apricot and pear, lovely weight and salinity surfacing on the finish. It is one of the finest Grand Village Blanc that I have tasted.保税价格¥ 1,160.00 -
Exquisite and masterfully crafted, Le Puy Emilien 2014 is an organic, biodynamic Bordeaux blend from the lauded estate Château le Puy in the unadulterated hilly landscapes of Saint-Cibard. Ethereal with complex aromas, this enchanting ruby red wine boasts a rich tapestry of dried fruits, spice mix, and leather undertones. The grounded earthiness and persistent tannins intertwine, surrendering to a lingering fruity finish that signifies maturation in large, century-old foudres enhancing its smooth character. The Amoreau family, traditional wine artisans with 500 years of heritage, have unveiled an exceptional vintage which mirrors the mineral-infused clay and limestone soils of their vineyard. The family's diligent care for their ungrafted vines, absence of synthetic chemicals, and reliance on the biodynamic calendar reflect the natural vinification of the Le Puy Emilien 2014. A true connoisseur will revel in this Bordeaux blend's authentic French character, a testament to steadfast tradition and unabridged passion.

The 2006 Pavillon Blanc du Château Margaux has always been one of the pinnacle white releases from this First Growth and at ten years of age, I have no reason to change my mind. It has an exquisite bouquet of lemon curd, orange scents and a touch of praline that is very delineated and focused. The palate exhibits fine balance with hints of crème fraiche, almond and even a cheeky dab of marzipan. Funnily enough, it is difficult imagining that this is 100% Sauvignon Blanc and in fact, there is something almost Burgundy-like about this Pavillon Blanc (as I suggested in my barrel tasting note). Irrespective of origin, what it constitutes is a damn glorious white Bordeaux that comes highly recommended. So much so, I would drink this now rather than later. Tasted January 2016.保税价格¥ 26,355.00 -

Lemon peel, white flowers, mint and slate are some of the many notes that are woven throughout the 2014 Pavillon Blanc. The interplay of bright, citrus-driven flavors and palate texture is compelling. This is the first vintage in which a portion of the Blanc was aged in 500-liter barrels, a format that helps preserve freshness and tension. In early 2015, I thought the Pavillon Blanc could be the most compelling of Margaux's 2014s. I still feel the same way.保税价格¥ 2,220.00 -

High Sauvignon Blanc aromatics, with gunsmoke and flint reduction on the first nose, opening to juicy white peach, white pear, nuanced pumice stone minerality. Pavillon Blanc is one of the most structured white wines of Bordeaux, and reveals its complexities slowly, but already the texture tells you just what an exceptional vintage it is. Subtle yet unmissable.保税价格¥ 12,795.00 -

The clarity and focus of this white is phenomenal with honeysuckle, white peach, lavender, and melon aromas that follow through to a full body, yet it’s tight and focused with super fine phenolics that keep it together. Great balance between the opulence and freshness. It has great acidity. Incredible energy. pH 3.1. Drink or hold.保税价格¥ 14,025.00 -

Another brilliant white from Jean-Luc Thunevin, the 2019 Château Valandraud Blanc has a stunning array of pineapple and melon fruit as well as complex notes of spice, white flowers, and a chalky, earthy mineral character.
