This wine smells like where it comes from: high on the hills of Gevrey, tucked in near to the forest. Forest floor and fresh mushrooms mingle with bramble and blackberries. Vinous (93-95)
The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers 1er Cru has an exquisite bouquet of crystalline red berry fruit laced with minerals, wonderfully delineated and focused. The palate is smooth and sensual on the entry, and very cohesive, with a perfect line of acidity. Wine Advocate (92-94)
The 2014 Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru les Vaucrains has a stylish bouquet with ebulliant red cherry, strawberry and cold stone scents that are beautifully defined. The palate is ripe and sensual on the entry with a keen line of acidity. Vinous (90-92)
Medium red. Less fruity and more medicinal on the nose than the Vaucrains, offering complex scents of dark raspberry, dried flowers, mocha and earth. Then plush, silky and fine-grained on the palate, offering lovely floral lift to its raspberry fruit. The firm tannins turn a touch dry with air. Tim Atkin MW (94)
Showing blackberries and plums with underbrush and strong minerality, this is a Corton with a lot of personality. The tannins are nicely textured while the acidity seems to melt into the soft fruit core. Latour receives the "toleration" of keeping "Ch teau" in front of the appellation name. INAO has been cracking down elsewhere on all sorts of matters seemingly simple like this, but I do hope Latour gets to keep this name given its heritage at the property as it was the great-grandfather of Fabrice Latour who purchased the vines after the phylloxera crisis. 2023-32保税价格￥ 3,350.00 -

This is a very understated wine with elegant, pure and extremely pretty spicy red fruit aromas followed by supple yet precise and focused middle weight flavors highlighted by a sappy, intense and persistent finish. Famous throughout the world for its Grand Crus, Vosne-Romanée also has some extremely good Premier Crus. The vineyard of Les Petits Monts is situated at the top of the hill and takes its name from its location. The iron-based soils just south of Nuits Saint Georges are a perfect home for Pinot Noir vines and help the grapes reach peak maturity. Moderate wood stops short of fighting with the very spicy aromas of cassis and dark berry fruit coulis. The velvety and palate soaking middle weight plus flavors possess a seductive texture while offering more volume and power if less minerality on the ever-so-mildly warm but lengthy finale that is similarly structured. A perfect wine, that seems to have gone from one strength to another since I first tasted it, the 100% Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Lot 1 is absolutely amazing wine. It was aged 21 months in 87% new French oak, finished at 15.3% alcohol and was another abundant vintage, as this lot produced 850 cases, which is even more than 2012 and slightly less than 2003 and 2014. The wine has an inky purple color, a gorgeous nose of graphite, blueberry liqueur intermixed with cassis, blackberry, espresso roast, chocolate and graphite. Dense and incredibly intense with good acidity (slightly lower pH than the 2012, reflected in the character of the wine), fabulous purity and a finish that goes on for close to 50+ seconds. This could well turn out to be the greatest wine ever made at the Louis Martini Winery and that is saying something. It has at least 30-50+ years of aging potential and is clearly a compelling effort from this historic and iconic winery in Napa.保税价格￥ 2,340.00 -

The 2019 Hommage a Camille (Mareuil-sur-Ay) is terrific. Bright and effusive, with gorgeous fruit purity, the 2019 dazzles from the start. Clean mineral notes frame a core of bright red cherry fruit. 46% Grenache, 27% Cinsault and 27% Syrah, grapes sourced entirely from Swartland, the portion of Wellington Carignan that marked previous vintages no longer a feature. Approximately 80% whole-bunch fermentation. Complex aromatics of red and black fruit, rose, fynbos, olive, earth and spice. The palate has good fruit weight (despite a modest alcohol of 13%) to go with bright acidity and crunchy tannins. W.O. Swartland. 44% Grenache Noir, 31% Cinsault and 25% Syrah. 80% whole-bunch fermentation. Whereas quite a few New Wave red wines sacrifice fruit depth for freshness, Lourens seems to achieve both. The nose shows top notes of lavender and fynbos before red and black berries, oliver, pepper and spice. The palate is medium bodied with fresh acidity and chalky tannins. This is the second year Aleste is produced instead of Cannubi Boschis, however the grapes are exactly the same. The 2014 Barolo Aleste is named after Luciano Sandrone's grandchildren Alessia and Stefano. The 2014 is still wound up and will require extra time to find its footing. The Sandrone family lost 25% of their fruit production in this challenging harvest. The wine offers fragrant notes of wild cherry and cassis with smoke, crushed stone and candied orange peel.
