Serious and tensile, Raveneau's 2019 Chablis Grand Cru Clos unwinds in the glass with aromas of orange oil, white flowers, confit lemon, green apple and deftly judged reduction. Full-bodied, taut and chiseled, it's an immensely concentrated, racy wine with huge depth at the core and a long, intensely saline finish. Its style exemplifies the 2019 Chablis vintage at its best.保税价格¥ 124,130.00 -

A restrained nose immediately makes clear that it could be from nowhere else but Chablis with its array of mineral reduction, oyster shell, iodine, spice, floral and citrus aromas. There is once again excellent volume and intensity to the even more concentrated big-bodied flavors that deliver huge length on the bone-dry, austere and compact finish. This is presently a block of stone that is going to need at least some patience and a wine that should repay 15+ years of cellaring. Moreover, it is not only a candidate for wine of the vintage honors but could legitimately vie for being one of the all-time great examples of Raveneau Clos. I shudder to think at what price it will trade at but if you can afford it, don't hesitate.保税价格¥ 126,850.00 -

The 2015 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos has a pleasant peach and nectarine scented bouquet that might not sing of Chablis, but is attractive in a rather obvious way. The palate is medium-bodied with a slight viscosity on the entry, hints of praline and almond towards the finish. It is attractive, but drink it in its youth.保税价格¥ 2,175.00 -

The 2012 Pouilly Fuissé la Croix Vieilles Vignes comes from schist soils and even in nascent form it boasts a vibrant, energetic stony nose that shimmers in the glass. The palate is extremely well-balanced and complex: citrus peel and orange rind at first and then subtle mandarin and spice notes flowing through later. This is quite a mercurial Pouilly-Fuissé, coquettishly showing a different side of its face each time you come back. Superb.保税价格¥ 2,270.00 -

Aromas of green apple, white flowers, oyster shell and beeswax introduce the 2019 Chablis 1er Cru Montmains, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive wine that's quite tightly wound, built around tangy acids and chalky dry extract. This Montmains retains a very classic profile in this ripe vintage.保税价格¥ 2,765.00 -

Pretty forceful, direct acidity here. Classic Chablis style. Will age. Comes from two plots situated on the left bank of the Serein, with one positioned below Montée de Tonnerre. They are fermented and kept separate before blending. Mostly hand-harvested.保税价格¥ 1,560.00 -

5 Star Wine. Pale in colour, more mineral on the nose than the Petit Chablis. Very complete with a racy marine minerality cutting right through the white flesh. Perfectly positioned on the stones. Bravo. From the last bottling. Drink from 2025-2028. Tasted Jun 2024.保税价格¥ 1,160.00 -

The 2020 Pouilly-Fuissé Les Courtelongs 1er Cru, which comes from north-orientated vines on red limestone soils, is very harmonious on the nose, perhaps more understated than other cuvées from Saumaize-Michelin. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, very saline in the mouth, hints of bitter lemon and a dab of spice, very persistent on the finish. An intellectual (as well as quite delicious) Pouilly-Fuissé in the making.保税价格¥ 3,120.00 -

An intricately layered nose freely offers up its combination of ripe white and yellow orchard fruit, especially peach, and less floral but spicier aromas. The rich, textured and vibrant flavors possess very fine mid-palate density that brims with dry extract on the sappy finish that is supported by lemon-tinged acidity. This is a big and powerful St. Véran that isn't elegant but offers much to like. 2024+ Sweet Spot Outstanding保税价格¥ 2,600.00 -

The Séguinot’s roots in Maligny date back to 1590. This is a complete Fourchaume from Jean-François Bordet which balances the richness, concentration and intensity of Fourchaume with fresh acid, a lovely mineral undertow and complexity of flavour. Disarmingly drinkable already, this has the potential to age and become a memorable Fourchaume in three to four years.保税价格¥ 3,085.00 -

The 2023 Bourgogne Aligoté was bottled in April. It has a clean and sharp bouquet—a little more malic, perhaps from the fruit located up in the Hautes-Côtes. The palate is well balanced, a little oily in texture, with fine acidity and a lighter, sour lemon- and ginger-tinged finish. Enjoy this over the next four or five years.保税价格¥ 1,070.00 -

The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Champ Gain 1er Cru has the best aromatics of Tawse’s white with delineated, mineral-driven citrus fruit that blossoms in the glass. A domaine wine, badly hit by the frost. Clear bright colour, a light barrel toast but clearly with interesting fruit beneath. There is quite some concentration on the palate especially at the back, with yellow plum and pear fruit, a good thread of acidity and persistence.保税价格¥ 7,615.00 -

The 2021 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru has an even heavier reduction than David Croix's "C.C." and this seems more fixed despite transferring between glasses. The palate is better with admirable weight and depth. The reduction is still more pronounced than I would prefer, though it is redeemed by a lovely spiciness on the admittedly oaky finish plus there is plenty of vigour and length. How this Corton-Charlemagne will play out depends on what happens to that reduction... it could go either way, hence the question mark against my score. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.保税价格¥ 3,770.00 -

The 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet Blanchot-Dessus 1er Cru was one of the big (pleasant) surprises of the tasting. It has a more composed and complex bouquet compared to others in this flight, with a little more crushed stone, blood oranges and light quince aromas developing in the glass. Impressive delineation and the oak is seamlessly integrated. The palate is well balanced with a crisp line of acidity, just a dab of sour lemon and orange rind, quite peppery in style with a bravura finish. Much better than others in this flight, this is well worth hunting down. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.保税价格¥ 6,660.00 -

The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet La Romanée 1er Cru is more reserved on the nose, but well defined with crushed stone and touches of pressed flowers and chai. The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Le Cailleret 1er Cru shows a little more reduction on the nose than the Morgeots, although there is good concentration here. The 2019 Meursault Les Charmes-Dessus 1er Cru comes from two parcels located down from Les Perrières. The vines are 65 years old, one parcel on SO4 rootstock that is particularly low-yielding. This has a pretty bouquet, understated at first and then unfolding to reveal crushed stone and yellow flower aromas. The palate is well balanced with a smooth, slightly honeyed opening, richer than the preceding Village Crus but nicely focused. Lemon curd and a touch of stem ginger toward the finish. A delicious Meursault to drink over the next 12–15 years.保税价格¥ 4,985.00 -
