The attack suggests that this is only just ripe, but the finish indicates that it was picked at a very good moment, otherwise you wouldn’t have this length of flavour. Fine tension to finish. |

Burghound (92)Outstanding. Much like the Limozin, the expressive nose is perfumed and elegant with its cool array of just sliced citrus, smoked apple and subtle floral and spice wisps. There is excellent punch to the beautifully textured medium weight flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the balanced and sneaky long finish. Like several of the wines in the range, this could use better depth but it is clearly built-to-age and developing more complexity should just be a matter of patience. |
