Just as deep a purple colour but more elegance on the nose, less obviously and immediately sumptuous. Wavelets of alpine strawberry and its raspberry equivalent dance across the palate, super fine, with startling elegance. Another 2022 beauty from Thomas. Drink from 2030-2038.保税价格¥ 8,575.00 -

An additional fresh purple density. Rich purple, with a depth of fruit to match. Quite special. I love the balance of this in the mouth, a dense and quite exuberant red fruit, brought back at the finish to the typical savoury style of Morey, long and fine. Darker fruit at the finish. Drink from 2028-2035.保税价格¥ 2,650.00 -

The 2016 Vosne-Romanée Village comes from three vineyards covering 1.5 hectares and sees one-third new oak. It has a fragrant bouquet with ebullient strawberry and raspberry fruit entwined with cold stone aromas and discrete sous-bois aromas. The palate has a little more substance than its fellow village crus even if it does not quite deliver the same finesse as the Morey-Saint-Denis or the Gevrey-Chambertin. Still, I appreciate the deft spicy note that sustains the finish.保税价格¥ 5,885.00 -
Vinous (90-92)
The 2019 Vosne-Romanée Village contains 20% whole bunch from the La Violette lieu-dit and destemmed fruit from the Quartiers de Nuits and Basses-Maizière lieux-dits. Aged in 30% new oak, it is quite backward and surly on the nose at first, but opens to reveal white pepper and clove aromas tincturing the tightly wound black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy black fruit, and quite sweet at its core, with that white pepper leitmotif and a touch of graphite toward the crunchy finish.保税价格¥ 2,720.00 -
Vinous (87-89)
The 2021 Vosne-Romanée Village has a bit more gumption on the nose compared to the Gevrey-Chambertin with lifted red berry fruit and touches of black tea. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, fine-boned with a citrus-freshness, hints of marmalade towards the finish. Fine.保税价格¥ 3,075.00 -

(two-thirds vendange entier; 25% new oak): Bright, full red. Distinctly limestone-driven aromas of raspberry, earth and smoky minerality. Silky, sappy and impressively concentrated, with black raspberry and cooler cherry flavors framed and enlivened by brisk acidity. The serious, broad tannins arrive late, allowing the wine's fruit flavors to carry well on the aftertaste.保税价格¥ 4,535.00 -
Vinous (89-91)
(20% new oak and one-third vendange entier; the average vine age here is 50 years): Medium red. More delicate on the nose than the Les Sizies, offering scents of strawberry and stone. Then juicier and more energetic on the palate, showing lovely precision and penetration to its red fruit and saline mineral flavors. On the lean side but the firmly tannic finish leaves behind a salty tang. Winemaker Brian Sieve describes the estate's Perrières holding as our most active limestone site along with the Nuits-Saint-Georges Aux Thoreys. This wine started its malolactic fermentation sur marc--i.e., in the tank before the alcoholic fermentation finished.保税价格¥ 4,355.00 -

The 2020 Corton Clos du Roi Grand Cru is two-thirds whole cluster fruit. Quite closed, broody and stroppy on the nose, it does not budge when I gave my glass aeration. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent tannins, quite saline and spicy, a dash of white pepper towards the finish. Good depth, quite voluminous on the finish. Give this 4-6 years in bottle. Closure: Diam保税价格¥ 7,195.00 -

5 stars. From the northern end of Gevrey-Chambertin, towards Brochon. One third whole bunch and 25% new wood. Glowing crimson purple, a little bit deeper than Arnaud’s Ma Cuvée. The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin "Mes Cinq Terroirs" comes from the north of the appellation and includes one-third of whole bunches due to the acidity being lower than the Marsannay. It has a beautiful bouquet like last year, pure with raspberry and wild strawberry fruit, superb mineralité and vigor. The palate is medium-bodied with dark berry fruit, Earl Grey and light tertiary scents, very cohesive with a persistent finish. This should age extremely well in bottle.保税价格¥ 3,985.00 -
