Some ripe citrus starts to appear at the back. This is a sleeper which may very well deliver a great deal more than I am giving it now. |

This is a big yet well-balanced Bâtard that should age for a very long time yet be approachable after only 5-ish years or so. |

Totally saturates the mouth and mounts on the back end without leaving any impression of heaviness. Boillot told me that the 2017 version of this wine is a bit higher in acidity but this bottle boasts excellent verve. |
